Happy One Week Payton!

I just want to thank everyone for all the comments and such! I have not had much time to get on except to check all the things you guys have sent...I really appreciate it. Payton is doing very well. She loves to eat and poop, lol...don't they all! I don't get much spare time right now because while Payton sleeps, Jerzie makes sure that Kim and I devote every minute to her :) Jerzie really loves her sissy as well, but she has shown some resentment to Payton getting attention when she wants it. The first time we all went out together, Jerzie asked me if we were bringing Payton to her mommy, lol. Some rebellion and a lot of adjusting for all of us but things seem to be coming together quite well.
Payton is quite different from what Jerzie was this first week. She sleeps and eats in 2-3 hours intervals and only eats for twenty minutes. Jerzie wanted to always eat! I never had a break which is why we switched to formula so fast :)
Jerzie also hated car rides, strange, huh? Most kids love them and Payton does as long as you don't stop at the stop lights and signs, lol.
Payton had her first checkup today and she is doing wonderfully. She was 7lbs 3oz when she left the hospital last Friday and she is now up to 7lbs 13oz. I would say she is definitely getting enough to eat!
Happy one week birthday Payton!

Happy Valentines Day

We made treats and valentines for the kiddies at daycare today!
Aunt Laurie gave us her recipe for peanut butter rice krispie treats and daddy wanted some, so we made them!

Guess who takes after daddy in the peanut butter fanatic department???

How'd you guess??? She had mommy crying from laughing so hard at the faces she was making after taking such huge spoonfulls of peanut butter!!

She also got very messy because she gave up on the spoon and just dug her whole hand in! She wouldn't do it for a picture because she needed her "hands washed now!!!"
She helped a lot! Mixing up the chocolate!!
Ready to eat, I mean decorate with the m&m's and sprinkles....

Its looking quite festive!!!

Awe! Great job Jerzie Shea! I am sure everyone at daycare will love them! (and daddy too)

Signing the valentines....

Putting the pencils with the valentines cards...

Decorating little baggies for the treats....
How cute are they? Who needs to buy them?

Finished product! Yeah...oh..and by the way...they are very yummy, we tried one :)

Playing with Playdough!!!

Jerzie got some new play dough for being such a big girl with learning to go potty. Daddy only got her one color to start with in case she didn't like it, since she isn't into getting her hands dirty. But, she loved it! She didn't want to stop she was having such a good time! I love that she likes to do hands on stuff still since she has gotten so into the tv lately!

Mets Suprise!

Daddy found a new jacket for Jerzie to wear this spring!
Its one to match the one he got for Christmas! A Mets jacket the perfect size for a mini Mets fan!
It took a little coaxing to get it on her, but she was proud to have pictures taken after a while!
It was quite a steal, daddy only paid $1 for it on Ebay plus a couple dollars for shipping...
What Mets fan could resist such a cool jacket for such a cool Mets fan?

Finger Painting!!!!

Even though my "clean" girl doesn't like to get her hands dirty...she loves finger painting!!!!

She started out really reluctantly and unsure about the whole idea.....

Daddy showed her how it works and it was no holding back from there!!!!

She used every color that came in the pack, which is a ton! It was good for us too, so we could work on teaching her all her colors!

She, of course, wanted us to get in on the fun too...she likes to share :)

She got quite messy but had so much fun. I loved it. It reminds me of being at my grandma's when I was younger. We used to use the huge rolls of paper and grandma would roll it out on her floor and we would make these huge pictures all with finger paints and she would hang them all over her walls so proudly.
