MY LITTLE SISTER
I Don't know where to start, because I don't know when there will be an end.

This is Cassie and Josh opening presents. They seemed to really enjoy everything they received. This is the first child for both of them and they are very excited about it. It kind of sucks though, because they live about five or so hours away and can't afford to come home much so we will have to keep up to date with lots of pictures. They are having a boy and his name will be Nolan.
Cassie is pretty big according to her doctor. She is not due till mid-late August but the doctor won't be surprised to see her sooner since the baby seems to be a nice size already.
After the shower some of the family stuck around so we got out Jerzie's pool and let all the kids go swimming in their undies. Its really fun to watch them play the way we did when we were younger. Its almost like Deja Vu, lol.
This is Jerzie and Cassie's niece Aylah. Aylah was born six days after Jerzie. Don't they look so cute? Jerzie wasn't much into the little one following her around, but she had better get used to it :)
Poor Aylah! Such a busy day, she is sooo tired and wants to go home. The party started at 1 and my house wasn't empty until 7, lol. Luckily it was a lot of fun and there wasn't too much of a mess to clean up. We all had a wonderful time and it was really nice to have it a family shower rather than just the women. My next shower is going to be the same way. I'd rather include all the family together to celebrate having a baby!
After dinner, Grandma suggested having marshmellows on the grill since it was still warm, so Jerzie, her daddy and I all made Smores while Grandpa and Grandma had melted marshmallows!!
Here she is testing the water to make sure mommy made it warm enough :)
Yeah!! Its all good :)
We tried the slide once and weren't to into it but it was fun to make the fishies and the turtles go down it!
Riding the sides like a jet ski :)
Wrestling the dolphin!
She didn't warm up to some of the animals even though this guy was just a baby, I think she was a little scared because he had the face of an old man!
She really liked the leopards though!! She watched them pace back and forth, back and forth, the poor babies were so hot!
OOOHHH!!! Look, I am almost as tall as the giraffes, ha ha ha... There was a daddy and a baby giraffe and a daddy and baby Smith, how cool!!!
Jerzie's Favorite!! She hasn't stopped talking about them since :) "MONNNKKIIIEEESSS" She has a way of pronounciating every syllable of the word...
It was a great first experience for her and I think it will be quite a while before she forgets! She rode a choo choo and walked through a path with Kangaroos jumping across the path and went into a cage with birdies flying at us....so many memories :)
She was very happy to see her papa! As soon as we got out of the truck all she would say was "papa? papa?"
She warmed up eventually though and took it upon herself to eat some of his cake that the nurses brought up to him and also to "clean" up his room with a tissue!
When we went into the waiting room again to change and feed her, she walked and and put her hands up and said "where's papa?" It was really cute! She wouldn't eat very well b/c she just wanted to go back into where papa was.
All in all we had a pretty good trip, traffic wasn't bad and Jerzie was pretty well behaved.
We will probably be going back out a few more times since he will be out there for a while. If you want to check out his progress or his blog, click on the link in the right hand column on "Butch's Blog".
Thanks!!
We just learned that laying down in the bathtub isn't so bad after all and we can pretend we are swimming by kicking our feet!! (notice the bubbles are still present, hee hee hee)
Jerzie is learning to wash herself too! She is very independant so we like to show her how to do things for herself!
All done!!!! Now we can wrap up in the "froggy!" Jerzie calls her favorite bath towel "froggy" because it looks like a frog :)
I don't know if she was looking for something in particular or if she just wanted to see the bottom of her toybox :)
The funny thing is she had herself stuck by the time she got done! Daddy had to help her get out of the trap she got herself into!!
OOOOH, there is my car!!! I knew it was in here somewhere!
Whoohoo...I made it out alive :)
All cleaned up and organized. Jerzie was a very big helper at putting everything back!! She is pretty good about cleaning up her messes, almost better than Mommy and Daddy! Too bad, she was back at it the next day, lol!!
She is being so delicate with the paper, its too cute.
She has opened presents since she was about 5 months old at her first Christmas. Of course last Christmas was a little too much for her...:)
Won't be long till there isn't enough to open, lol!!
Yeah!!! New books!! Mommy especially loves this present because she gets tired of always reading the same ones all the time!!
She got two new books and one of them matches one of her favorites. 1...2...3 is one of her favorites now and she recieved a new one in the series called A...B...C. She also recieved another really cute one with it.
This is her telling me that she wants to hold the "baby" and she is all ready to go in the chair!
Now she is holding Xavier, "her baby"...Everytime I tried to take him, she would cry and say "NO!! My Baby!!!"
More following around that poor baby....
Now its Xaviers bothers turn...She is showing him how the bubbles work, even though I think he already knows...lol
We ended the day with some baseball...Jerzie hit the ball pretty well!! I think she is going to be a ball player like daddy...
I tried to get a closeup to show the drawing on her face, lol...
She moves to much and its too light to see but she colored her cheeks...
Don't eat it, it doesn't taste too well....
Look how pretty my jeans are, lol
Let me show you how to do it....
Awe how cute, drawing together....
What is daddy drawing for Jerzie?
Jerzie likes it whatever it is....
Time to clean them up and put them away so we can go get Jerzie all cleaned up!
