Baby Update
All About Baby
Your baby is filling out this week. She's adding fat to insulate her body for the day she leaves her cozy home. You can probably distinguish between feet and hands, head and bottom when your baby-to-be moves inside you. She takes practice breaths but won't breathe air until delivery.
Your baby's growth has begun to slow down now, but she will still gain approximately four pounds between now and birth. If she were born now, she would be able to breathe, but might tire easily and need assistance. Her little eyes are sensitive to light.
How Big Is Baby?
At two pounds, 12 ounces and almost 10 and one-half inches (crown to ump), your little one is growing fast!

Our new little one is full time active now! There is a rare moment that I don't feel some kind of movement. I am yet to discover what each feeling is, whether a hand or a foot, a head or a rear end, lol. It seems to love to move right below my belly button which is a very wierd sensation! I love every minute of it and love to share it with anyone that is around to experience it too! It is really strange sometimes and almost feels as if the little one is trying to scrape its way out...
A small difference from when I was pregnant with Jerzie, I feel movement from both ends, if I get movement in my hip area its usually in unison with movement near my belly button or ribs. Usually Jerzie stuck with stabbing feet into my rib cage and my constant pushing her out of there. This one tends to stay near by mid-belly and below which is a nice change :)
Its a little strange also, to feel my belly on my lap. I never had that before, even with Jerzie. This baby is really low and has been the entire time and when I sit, my belly sits on my lap. Poor Jerzie has no where to sit anymore except on my knees :) It makes all pants very uncomfortable since I do not like things on my belly and there isn't much room below my belly for my pants to sit without falling off!
I don't really get too sick or anything any more. I get a lot of heartburn and acid reflux, same as with Jerzie, but I get it mostly if I don't eat constantly through out the day or if I eat too much all at once. My stomach must be the size of a pea by now, lol.
Well that is all for now, except, WOW, only a few more months and baby #2 will be here!!!
