Baby Update

All About Baby
Your baby is filling out this week. She's adding fat to insulate her body for the day she leaves her cozy home. You can probably distinguish between feet and hands, head and bottom when your baby-to-be moves inside you. She takes practice breaths but won't breathe air until delivery.
Your baby's growth has begun to slow down now, but she will still gain approximately four pounds between now and birth. If she were born now, she would be able to breathe, but might tire easily and need assistance. Her little eyes are sensitive to light.
How Big Is Baby?
At two pounds, 12 ounces and almost 10 and one-half inches (crown to ump), your little one is growing fast!
Our new little one is full time active now! There is a rare moment that I don't feel some kind of movement. I am yet to discover what each feeling is, whether a hand or a foot, a head or a rear end, lol. It seems to love to move right below my belly button which is a very wierd sensation! I love every minute of it and love to share it with anyone that is around to experience it too! It is really strange sometimes and almost feels as if the little one is trying to scrape its way out...
A small difference from when I was pregnant with Jerzie, I feel movement from both ends, if I get movement in my hip area its usually in unison with movement near my belly button or ribs. Usually Jerzie stuck with stabbing feet into my rib cage and my constant pushing her out of there. This one tends to stay near by mid-belly and below which is a nice change :)
Its a little strange also, to feel my belly on my lap. I never had that before, even with Jerzie. This baby is really low and has been the entire time and when I sit, my belly sits on my lap. Poor Jerzie has no where to sit anymore except on my knees :) It makes all pants very uncomfortable since I do not like things on my belly and there isn't much room below my belly for my pants to sit without falling off!
I don't really get too sick or anything any more. I get a lot of heartburn and acid reflux, same as with Jerzie, but I get it mostly if I don't eat constantly through out the day or if I eat too much all at once. My stomach must be the size of a pea by now, lol.
Well that is all for now, except, WOW, only a few more months and baby #2 will be here!!!

For my beautiful daughter...

*Just for this morning, I am going to step over the laundry, and pick you up and take you to the park to play.
*Just for this morning, I will leave the dishes in the sink, and let you teach me how to put that puzzle of yours together.
*Just for this afternoon, I will unplug the telephone and keep the computer off, and sit with you in the backyard and blow bubbles.
*Just for this afternoon, I will not yell once, not even a tiny grumble when you scream and whine for the ice cream truck and I will buy you one if he comes by.
*Just for this afternoon, I won't worry about what you are going to be when you grow up, or second guess every decision I have made where you are concerned.
*Just for this afternoon, I will let you help me bake cookies, and I won't stand over you trying to fix them.
*Just for this afternoon, I will take us to McDonald's and buy us both a Happy Meal so you can have both toys.
*Just for this evening, I will hold you in my arms and tell you a story about how you were born and how much I love you.
*Just for this evening, I will let you splash in the tub and not get angry.
*Just for this evening, I will let you stay up late while we sit on the porch and count all the stars.
*Just for this evening, I will snuggle beside you for hours, and miss my favorite TV shows.
*Just for this evening when I run my finger through your hair as you pray, I will simply be grateful that God has given me the greatest gift ever given.
*I will think about the mothers and fathers who are searching for their missing children, the mothers and fathers who are visiting their children's graves instead of their bedrooms, and mothers and fathers who are in hospital rooms watching their children suffer senselessly, and screaming inside that they can't handle it anymore.
*And when I kiss you good night I will hold you a little tighter, a little longer.
It is then, that I will thank God for you, and ask Him for nothing, except one more day............

Clarissa's Birthday

We went to a birthday party on Sunday and Jerzie got to hang out and play with cousins from daddy's side of the family. She had a blast! This was the first time all four kids were together at an age were they could all play together. The oldest is 7 and the youngest just turned 2.

Here they are playing with the present we bought. Mommy wanted to see how much Jerzie enjoyed it so maybe Santa could bring her one for Christmas. It seems she enjoyed quite well!

Oh Yea! Gotta love the cake part!! It was delicious, the frosting was so light and creamy. Jerzie ate almost the whole thing and didn't even want any ice cream with it!!

It is so wierd to see all ages playing so well together!

The only real fallouts were between Clarissa and Jerzie and they weren't even that bad. Just normal two year old stuff, I want what you have, lol.

Of course this ball blaster was a big hit, because it was on the verge of dead batteries and someone would have to go get more if it ran out!
We had a really great time and it was so nice to see all the kids together! I am going to have to see if we can all get together once a month or something so all the kids can get to know one another and grow up together!
