Day at the Ballpark

Mommy and Daddy brought Jerzie to see a minor league baseball game last week. Daddy loves the Mets and their minor league team was playing in town so we went down for the $1 night that they have! Jerzie's friend Jaxson and his parents came along too because Jaxsons daddy is a Mets fan as well!

We really didn't know they were going to wear the same t-shirts but it was really cute that they did.
Yeah....Go Cyclones!!!!

Jerzie and Jaxson had more fun playing in the bleachers than actually paying attention to the game! That is a big change from when we took Jerzie to the Mets game last year. She watched the whole game and cheered and yelled and hooted and hollered the whole game.

More fun playing up and down, taking turns so Jaxsons mommy couldn't get a good picture of the two of them together :)

At the end of the game daddy tried to get Jerzie to shake hands with the "Grape Ape" (Jammers mascot) She wouldn't go near him but all she talked about during the game when she saw him and all the way home was the "Monkey"!!!

Babys First Picture

We had a sonogram yesterday to check the size of the baby and its surroundings and to make sure everything was going as planned.

This first picture is of Jerzie's first sonogram picture at the same timing as the new baby (Dec 09, 2005). The difference is unreal. Jerzie's was zoomed right in on her and she really looks like a baby :)

Unfortunatly, the new baby didn't get a great picture. The tech wasn't able to zoom in as well as they did for Jerzie. You can tell its there though! And Ithink we heard the heart beat too, although I am not sure if it was mine or the baby's because the Tech didn't really talk a lot :(

I haven't heard from the doctor so that is a good sign as they would be calling if there were any problems:) Next time I hope to have a more clear picture to show. As far as we could tell from the sonogram, they didn't change the due date any so I am still due between 2/11/09-2/15/09. We will see how close they are. I was due with Jerzie on 7/13/06 and it stayed that date all the way through the pregnancy but I ended up giving birth on 7/20/06. We will have wait and see!

Midway Park....

On the fourth we went to Midaway Park. Jerzie got to spend time with one of her friends from Daycare there...

She started out by enjoying LOOKING at everything...
So we watched her friend go down the slide...
And then she tried it...

Next we asked her if she wanted to drive the cars...
This she enjoyed quite well...
Maybe we will have to take her back and keep riding this ride...

Time for the train....
As you can see, she didn't enjoy this either...
Her daddy had a hard time keeping her from jumping off the train :(

Time for fireworks!!! Now we are a little happier since Mom and Dad didn't make me go on anything else!

All in all it was a fun day, altho there are probably things Jerzie would like to forget. I think she had a good time and I know her friend did too. We will have to do it again soon and maybe then she won't be soo scared of everything. It took her quite a while to get used to the park so we will get her riding rides in no time, I hope:)

Summer party!!!

On Saturday we attended a nice summer party at Kim's friends house!

Jerzie really loved Maggie and I think Maggie felt the same because where ever Jerzie was, there was Maggie :)
I think we should get a little doggy and I think Jerzie agrees...
We thought it was a pool party but it wasn't!
That didn't stop lil Jerzie from wanting to go in the pool though!
She loved it!! She kept telling daddy "water, water, water"

It was a pretty fun time! We met quite a few new people and Jerzie got to play with some little ones her age! It was great!

New little Peanut

Well we went to the doctors today for the first visit. We didn't do much except talk and take my height and weight and sign up for blood work and a sonogram.

The sonogram is next Tuesday, maybe we will see the little peanut, maybe not. I hope so! Its soo much fun to see it on the screen. I was able to see Jerzie at the first appointment but the doctor says that it is possible that we wont be able too.

The picture above is about what the baby should look like if I am as far as we think. We will have to wait and see I guess!!
